Step One

My name is Alexis, and my amazing boyfriends name is Skyler. :) Skyler and I have been dating now for a year and a half. He is my best friend, and I love him so much. Skyler got his mission call last night, and will be serving in the Houston, Texas English speaking mission. Ah! I never thought the day would come when he would open his call. I didn't think I'd have a hard time with it, but I did. Haha I had soo many mixed emotions!! I was excited and sad, and I'm pretty sure I was more nervous than he was. I guess when the call comes, it makes you realize that they are actually leaving, and hearing the date they will leave is like a tearing in your heart. I don't know what I'm going to do when he leaves, we hang out 24/7! So, I used the wonderful thing called google, and found blogs by other missionary girlfriends, which inspired me to create my own. I will be waiting for Skyler 100% which means I will not be dating anyone while he's gone. I promised. :) I hope I can get support from other MG's, or anyone at all! I will try to post every week!
